The idea is to give the can a momentum, the bottle body is stationary, and the cap, partly due to inertia, continues to move in the direction away from the cap, loosening a little. On the other hand, jars, which have been sealed for a long time, are difficult to pull out due to the intermolecular forces, and tapping the cap also has the effect of breaking this intermolecular force.
The third trick: "break knife style" or "break spoon style". Using a metal knife or spoon, chopsticks, keys and other sharp tools, find the gap between the jar and the lid and pry the lid along the glass edge of the jar, similar to the method of opening a beer bottle cap. Wrap with paper towels to increase the coefficient of friction before prying.
